Bermondsey Waste Collections
Bermondsey Waste Management have always been proud of its ability to provide fast, customer services to thriving businesses, and our waste collection service is exactly the same. To start your waste collection service with us, we will initially arrange for one of our waste disposal advisers to visit you and discuss your needs.
There are just two chief elements of beginning your service with us. First, finishing and agreeing a contract between The Durham Company and your company. Secondly, your completion of a Duty of Care Certificate including a Controlled Waste Transfer Note (WTN).
This is by law exclusively valid for 12 months and needs to be revived consistently; we will ensure that you are aware of this.
Afterwards you will be sent a copy of your completed Duty of Care through the duration of your waste disposal contract with us. This has to be returned promptly as we cannot accumulate your waste without it! This is actually the sort shown next…
After providing these details about your waste, our consultant will subsequently give you comprehensive unit prices, individual land fill taxes on each and every lift, the entire Landfill Tax, bin rental, Duty of Care, the total disposal cost and VAT.
The invoice address and details will soon be added and the agreement will be duly signed by you the customer and our authorised waste disposal consultant. This will subsequently become our contract.
Similar information will likely be input into the Duty of Care — Controlled Waste Transfer Note. This consists of:
Copies will likely be given to you for your records that you need to maintain for a minimum of 3 years. The details from these forms will then be input into our database which ensures that your waste collections are scheduled, the established prices are charged and the relevant legal notices filed and stored.
